El Camino Real como alternativa para fortalecer el turismo de naturaleza en Guaduas, Cundinamarca

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo el propósito de formular una serie de estrategias para el fortalecimiento del turismo de naturaleza en el municipio de Guaduas, Cundinamarca articulado al Camino Real como eje central, además, de otros recursos naturales que forman parte de la oferta turística de este territorio; para ello, se acudió a una metodología de tipo descriptiva con enfoque mixto en el que se recogieron las diferentes perspectivas de la comunidad local, prestadores de servicios turísticos, turistas y la Secretaría de Cultura y Turismo, mediante el uso de técnicas de recolección de datos como encuestas y entrevistas. Con los aportes obtenidos se logró definir los factores que pueden ayudar a mejorar las prácticas que actualmente, se realizan en el municipio de esta tipología y en la que se pueda consolidar al Camino Real como un atractivo turístico para conservar su memoria histórica, cultural y natural

The purpose of this research was to formulate a series of strategies for the strengthening of nature tourism in the municipality of Guaduas, Cundinamarca articulated to the Camino Real as the central axis, in addition to other natural resources that are part of the tourist offer of this territory; for this, a descriptive methodology was used with a mixed approach in which the different perspectives of the local community, tourism service providers, tourists and the Secretaría de Cultura y Turismo were collected through the use of data collection techniques such as surveys and interviews. With the contributions obtained, it was possible to define the elements that can help to improve the practices that are currently carried out in the municipality of this tourism typology and in which the Camino Real can be consolidated as a tourist attraction to preserve its historical, cultural and natural memory
