Comportamiento de la bolsa de valores como factor influyente en el crecimiento económico colombiano 2008-2022

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza la influencia del comportamiento de la bolsa de valores mediante el índice (COLCAP) en la tasa del crecimiento económico colombiano a través del (PIB), durante el periodo comprendido entre 2008 y 2022. Se estudia cómo el COLCAP incide en el crecimiento económico, considerando además otros factores macroeconómicos claves para obtener un análisis integral. La investigación se fundamenta mediante un modelo econométrico Autorregresivo de Retardos Distribuidos (ARDL), en el que los resultados muestran que la variable COLCAP tiene una alta y positiva relación con el Producto Interno Bruto (PIB). Con las estimaciones se permite concluir principalmente que la bolsa de valores, tanto en su comportamiento actual como en períodos anteriores, influye en el comportamiento del PIB, como también se evidencia que la inflación impacta negativamente al crecimiento económico.

his paper analyzes the influence of the stock market performance through the index (COLCAP) on the Colombian economic growth rate through the (GDP), during the period between 2008 and 2022. It is studied how COLCAP affects economic growth, also considering other key macroeconomic factors to obtain a comprehensive analysis. The research is based on a Distributed Lag Autoregressive (ARDL) econometric model, in which the results show that the COLCAP variable has a high and positive relationship with the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). With the estimations it is possible to conclude that the stock market, both in its current behavior as well as in previous periods, influences the behavior of the GDP, as it is also evident that inflation has a negative impact on economic growth
