La presente investigación se realizó con el propósito de determinar el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios de las cajas de compensación familiar en Bogotá respecto al turismo social que estas ofrecen, empleándose una metodología de carácter mixto, tomando como muestra la población laboralmente activa con ingresos de hasta dos salarios mínimos; esto, con el fin de revisar si las cajas de compensación familiar cumplen con la labor de facilitar a las personas que pertenecen a una población con bajos ingresos, el disfrute del tiempo libre y vacaciones, aportándole al turismo social del país. Se evidenció que los beneficios que ofrecen las cajas de compensación a sus empleados no son suficientes como para ser considerados turismo social, ya que, sus tarifas son iguales o, aún mayores a las de una empresa privada que no tiene, por su naturaleza, un fin social.

The present research was carried out with the purpose of determining the level of satisfaction of the users of the family compensation funds in Bogotá with respect to the social tourism that they offer, for which a mixed methodology was used, taking as a sample the working population active with income of up to two times the minimum wage; This, in order to check if the family compensation funds fulfill the task of facilitating people who belong to a population with low incomes, the enjoyment of free time and vacations, contributing to the social tourism of the country. With which it was evidenced that the benefits offered by the compensation funds to their employees are not enough to be considered social tourism, since they are the same or even higher rates compared to a private company that does not have social purposes.
