El impacto de la pandemia ha afectado al mundo, en especial a la industria del Turismo. La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad documentar las estrategias incorporadas por el Jardín Botánico de Bogotá en tiempos de la Covid-19, con un enfoque mixto, tomando como base la información recolectada por medio de la internet, la página oficial del Jardín, encuestas y entrevistas, así mismo, se realizó la caracterización del Jardín, siendo una entidad que se destaca por fomentar la educación ambiental, cultural, social y turística. Se identificaron y analizaron las estrategias turísticas que aplicó el Jardín durante la Covid-19. Concluyendo que la presente investigación es pertinente, ya que orienta a seguir modelos estratégicos que permitan afrontar situaciones diversas e inesperadas, como en el caso del confinamiento que la humanidad se vio abocada a enfrentar, y frente a la cual, el Jardín generó y aplicó estrategias enfocadas a minimizar los efectos negativos y propender la calidad de vida de las personas

he impact of the pandemic has affected the world, especially the tourism industry. The purpose of this research was to document the strategies incorporated by the Botanical Garden of Bogota during Covid-19, with a mixed approach, based on the information collected through the Internet, the official website of the Garden, surveys and interviews, as well as the characterization of the Garden, being an entity that stands out for promoting environmental, cultural, social and tourism education. The tourism strategies applied by the Garden during Covid-19 were identified and analyzed. Concluding that the present research is pertinent, since it orients to follow strategic models that allow facing diverse and unexpected situations, as in the case of the confinement that humanity was forced to face, and in front of which, the Garden generated and applied strategies focused on minimizing the negative effects and promoting the quality of life of the people.
