| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This work addresses the financial management of entrepreneurs located in the main park of Funza, Cundinamarca, who mostly face difficulties in sustaining and growing their businesses. The central problem is related to the lack of clear and orderly financial strategies, which causes its shops to be unstable against a changing market. The main objective of this research was to analyze the impact of financial management on sustainability and growth of informal ventures located in the Funza Park. The methodology was mixed and surveys were applied to 16 informal merchants in the sector. The information collected included sociodemographic, educational and financial data. To validate the results, statistical tests such as Cronbach Alfa were used, which allowed to measure the reliability of the responses, and ANOVA, to establish whether there was a relationship between the applied strategies and the increase in income. The findings reflect that most entrepreneurs are young and that their businesses have little time of operation. Although several have records from their finances, many do not differentiate personal expenses from those of the business. Financial knowledge acquired by experience predominates more than academic training, and the use of basic digital tools, such as Excel, is frequent. Its main sources of financing are the savings and, to a lesser extent, bank loans. 5 The results show that for Funza entrepreneurs to maintain and consolidate their businesses, it is not enough only to the practical experience. It becomes necessary to strengthen your knowledge in financial education and have greater support in accessible credits. These two aspects can make a difference when organizing their resources better, face unforeseen events and take advantage of growth opportunities in a competitive environment. | eng |
