Reconociendo a la ciudad de Bogotá como epicentro de manifestaciones culturales que permite la divulgación y promoción de diferentes culturas y expresiones artísticas de las regiones del país, el presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo identificar los aportes del vallenato a la dinamización de Bogotá como destino turístico a través de este ritmo el cual permite un acercamiento a la cultura caribeña sin salir de la ciudad. Para el trabajo se empleó la metodología cualitativa de carácter exploratorio a través de entrevistas semi estructuradas y exploración documental. Cabe resaltar que dentro de los resultados se evidenció que existen propuestas que traen el folclor de la región caribe a la ciudad, además de sus muestras en establecimientos nocturnos y academias.

Bogotá is recognized as an epicenter of cultural events which allows for the dissemination and promotion of different cultures and artistic expressions of the regions of the country. This research has different objectives in identifying the contributions of vallenato to the revitalization of Bogota as a tourist destination through this rhythm which allows a closeness to the Caribbean culture without leaving the city. In addition, the methodology in this research is qualitative with emphasis on exploratory nature through semi-structured interviews and documentary exploration. It should be noted that within the results it was evident that there are proposals that bring the folklore of the Caribbean region to the city, as well as to their samples in night clubs.
