El presente documento aborda los principales problemas en cuanto a la responsabilidad internacional en casos de daños ambientales que sean ocasionados por el turismo, a partir de la investigación de tratados y acuerdos internacionales que abordan la responsabilidad ambiental, examinando cómo los acuerdos pueden aplicarse al mismo a partir del estudio de caso específico como lo es Playa Maya Bay. A partir de lo anterior, se plantea como objetivo analizar desde los acuerdos y convenciones internacionales a las cuales pertenece el país de Tailandia en beneficio de la calidad ambiental la problemática de daño ambiental en la playa Maya Bay perteneciente a Tailandia ocasionado por la actividad turística masiva e identificar las convenciones y tratados que protegen los daños ambientales, por otro lado, se cuenta con dos objetivos específicos, los cuales son, identificar las faltas de protección y garantías con el ecosistema de Tailandia frente a su responsabilidad con el medio ambiente y exponer las medidas de reparación impuestas para dar solución a la presente problemática. Por otro lado, se cuenta con el método implementado el cuál es cualitativa con un estudio de caso específico, a partir de esto, se concluye que Tailandia tiene una clara negligencia frente a los tratados internacionales acordados

This document addresses the main problems regarding international liability in cases of environmental damage caused by tourism, based on the investigation of international treaties and agreements that address environmental liability, examining how the agreements can be applied to the same. from the specific case study such as Playa Maya Bay. Based on the above, the objective is to analyze (from the international agreements and conventions to which the country of Thailand belongs for the benefit of environmental quality) the problem of environmental damage on the Maya Bay beach belonging to Thailand caused by tourist activity. massive and identify the conventions and treaties that protect environmental damage, on the other hand, there are two specific objectives, which are, to identify the lack of protection and guarantees with the ecosystem of Thailand in the face of its responsibility with the environment and to expose the reparation measures imposed to solve the present problem. On the other hand, there is the method implemented which is qualitative with a specific case study, from this, it is concluded that Thailand has a clear negligence towards the agreed international treaties.
