La presente investigación se desarrolla en el Colegio I.E.D. Manuel Elkin Patarroyo, tiene por objeto describir los factores de riesgo que inciden en el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas de estudiantes de la Institución, mediante estrategias investigativas que permitan el reconocimiento del aporte de la educación socioafectiva en la prevención del consumo de Sustancias Psicoactivas (SPA). Para lograrlo, se establecieron tres categorías de análisis a partir de la revisión documental: accesibilidad, percepción y contexto que guiaron el proceso teórico conceptual. Asimismo, retomando a Elsy Bonilla, se definió un horizonte metodológico de orden descriptivo y un paradigma interpretativo-comprensivo, en donde la lectura de la realidad desde la población, permita la recolección de información con técnicas e instrumentos de orden cualitativo, como la entrevista semiestructurada, la observación no participante y la entrevista a grupos focales. El proceso contó con la participación de 7 estudiantes, de los cursos octavo y noveno, en edades entre 13 y 16 años. Podemos mencionar como parte de los hallazgos fundamentales, que los principales riesgos de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en el colegio son el fácil acceso a estas sustancias psicoactivas, falta de acompañamiento por parte de la institución, familiar y a nivel afectivo los problemas que provienen desde el núcleo familiar y social. Es por ello que desde el Trabajo Social se evidencia la necesidad de generar una cartilla actualizada sobre educación socioafectiva en las instituciones educativas, ya sea por medio de la misma o de la secretaría de educación, con el objetivo de fortalecer la transversalización de la educación socioafectiva dentro de las aulas educativas.

This research is carried out at the I.E.D. Manuel Elkin Patarroyo, aims to describe the risk factors that affect the consumption of psychoactive substances by students of the Institution, through investigative strategies that allow the recognition of the contribution of socio-affective education in the prevention of the consumption of Psychoactive Substances (SPA). . To achieve this, three categories of analysis were established from the documentary review: accessibility, perception and context that guided the conceptual theoretical process. Likewise, returning to Elsy Bonilla, a descriptive methodological horizon and an interpretative-comprehensive paradigm were defined, where the reading of reality from the population allows the collection of information with qualitative techniques and instruments, such as the semi-structured interview, non-participant observation and focus group interviews. The process had the participation of 7 students, from the eighth and ninth grades, between the ages of 13 and 16. We can mention as part of the fundamental findings, that the main risks of consumption of psychoactive substances at school are easy access to these psychoactive substances, lack of support from the institution, family and emotionally the problems that come from the nucleus family and social That is why, from Social Work, the need to generate an updated primer on socio-affective education in educational institutions is evident, either through it or through the Secretary of Education, with the aim of strengthening the mainstreaming of socio-affective education. within educational classrooms.
