El trabajo de investigación se enfocó principalmente en la propuesta de un manual de procesos para las empresas del sector textil de accesorios para mascotas en la ciudad de Bogotá, dado que este sector de la economía no cuenta con lineamientos ambientales estandarizados que permitan disminuir la utilización de materiales altamente contaminantes para el medio ambiente. Por lo tanto, se tomó como referencia la Teoría Neoclásica y la Teoría de Producción Más Limpia (PML) con el objetivo de acompasar los procesos de producción de una manera sostenible, lo cual posibilitará que las empresas alcancen una situación ecológica mejorada mediante la reducción de las emisiones y desechos tóxicos generados. Se empleó la investigación de tipo explicativa con un enfoque cualitativo; ya que los datos secundarios obtenidos y el análisis generado se recolectan de una manera empírica y asumen una realidad subjetiva y dinámica por las empresas que pertenecen al sector textil de accesorios para mascotas. Se eligió un universo conformado por el sector textil de accesorios para mascotas en Colombia, tomando como población el mismo sector textil en Cundinamarca y efectuando la muestra en el sector textil en Bogotá. Posteriormente, se empleó el instrumento de matriz causa -efecto quepermitió identificar los procesos productivos que tienen un impacto negativo en el medio ambiente en la fabricación de fibras textiles en algodón y poliéster, en segundo lugar, a través de un diagrama de flujo se determinó el paso a seguir para la fabricación de las fibras textiles con las cuales se pueden producir accesorios para mascotas, finalmente, por medio de una matriz MAFE se identificó la favorabilidad de la aplicación de procesos sostenibles en empresas del sector textil de accesorios para mascotas. Los procesos de producción del sector investigado no son efectivos, dado que se demuestra que la fabricación de estos artículos repercute en el deterioro del ecosistema y la salud de los seres vivos porque aumentan el consumo de energía, aguas residuales, generan emisiones y residuos; por tal motivo se define un proceso que se debe llevar a cabo con los productos PET para generar las fibras textiles, de esta manera se potencia la capacidad la favorabilidad de implementar procesos de producción sostenibles. Como resultado de la investigación se observó que la producción de textiles de manera tradicional afecta considerablemente el suelo, a causa de los vertimientos de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos que se genera el proceso de fabricación con algodón y poliéster. Por tal motivo, a través de un instrumento de evaluación se determinaron los procesos de elaboración de fibras textiles de manera sostenible, con el fin de disminuir las etapas productivas que permitan mitigar el impacto ambiental negativo.Finalmente, se identificó la favorabilidad de implementar procesos de producción sostenibles en empresas del sector textil de accesorios para mascotas, con el objetivo de analizar si existe un aumento de competitividad y reconocimiento por medio de la aplicación de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE).

The research work was mainly focused on the proposal of a process manual for companies in the textile sector of accessories for pets in the city of Bogotá, given that this sector of the economy does not have standardized environmental guidelines that allow reducing the use of highly polluting materials for the environment. Therefore, the Neoclassical Theory and the Cleaner Production Theory (PML) were taken as a reference with the aim of pacing the production processes in a sustainable way, which will enable companies to achieve an improved ecological situation by reducing the emissions and toxic waste generated. Explanatory research was used with a qualitative approach; since the secondary data obtained and the analysis generated are collected in an empirical way and assume a subjective and dynamic reality by the companies that belong to the textile sector of accessories for pets. A universe made up of the textile sector of pet accessories in Colombia was chosen, taking as population the same textile sector in Cundinamarca and carrying out the sample in the textile sector in Bogotá. Subsequently, the cause - effect matrix instrument was used that allowed identifying the productive processes that have a negative impact on the environment in the manufacture of textile fibers in cotton and polyester, secondly, through a flow diagram it was determined The next step for the manufacture of textile fibers with which pet accessories can be produced. Finally, by means of a MAFE matrix, the favorability of the application of sustainable processes in companies in the textile sector of accessories for pets was identified. The production processes of the investigated sector are not effective, since it is shown that the manufacture of these articles affects the deterioration of the ecosystem and the health of living beings because they increase the consumption of energy, wastewater, generate emissions and waste; For this reason, a process is defined that must be carried out with PET products to generate textile fibers, in this way the ability to implement sustainable production processes is enhanced. As a result of the investigation, it was observed that the production of textiles in a traditional way affects the soil considerably, due to the dumping of hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated by the manufacturing process with cotton and polyester. For this reason, through an evaluation instrument, the processes for making textile fibers were determined in a sustainable way, in order to reduce the production stages that allow mitigating the negative environmental impact. Finally, the favorability of implementing sustainable production processes in companies in the textile sector of accessories for pets was identified, with the aim of analyzing whether there is an increase in competitiveness and recognition through the application of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
