El presente diagnóstico turístico consiste en la evaluación y análisis del sistema turístico del municipio de Chía, con la intención principal de convertirse en referente teórico-práctico para el municipio. Se realiza una aproximación inicial con el fin de conocer y observar la actividad turística del municipio, con un estudio de las diferentes problemáticas que se identifican, en un marco referencial de varios autores, especialmente a Carla Ricaurte y Sergio Molina, que abordan los conceptos de diagnóstico y sistema turístico. Posteriormente, se realizan entrevistas a diferentes personas que pertenecen a la cadena turística y encuestas a visitantes del municipio, las cuales son debidamente analizadas, evidenciando ausencia frente a temas de promoción, alianzas con otras entidades y municipios, entre otros. Finalmente, se expresan conclusiones sobre el trabajo realizado y se proyectan unas recomendaciones para que se mejore la actividad turística en el municipio.

The present tourist diagnosis involves the evaluation and analysis of the tourism system in the municipality of Chía, with the principal intention of becoming in theory-practice for the municipality. An initial approach is made in order to know and observe the tourist activity of the municipality, with a study of the various problems identified, in a framework of several authors, especially to Carla Ricaurte and Sergio Molina, dealing with the concepts of diagnosis and tourist system. Later, held interviews with different people who belong to the tourism chain and surveys to visitors of the municipality, which are properly tested, demonstrating absence against issues of promotion, partnerships with other entities and municipalities, among others. Finally, conclusions are expressed about the work carried out and recommendations project will improve the tourist activity in the municipality.
