La presente investigación tuvo como propósito analizar el turismo deportivo como una alternativa de diversificación turística en Bogotá, mediante una metodología con enfoque cualitativa, exploratoria, el estudio se dividió en tres fases. En primer lugar, se identificaron los eventos deportivos en Bogotá con el fin de articularlos al turismo deportivo, en segundo lugar, se buscó conocer la dinámica del turismo relacionada con el deporte, por último, mencionar las características de infraestructura y hotelería que se articulen al turismo deportivo.

The purpose of this research was to analyze sports tourism as an alternative for diversifying tourism in Bogota, using a qualitative, exploratory methodology, the study was divided into three phases. First, sporting events in Bogota were identified in order to articulate them to sports tourism, secondly, the dynamics of tourism related to sports were identified, and finally, the characteristics of infrastructure and hotels that are articulated to sports tourism were mentioned. On the other hand, a question was formulated in order to know if sports tourism can be considered as an alternative for the diversification of tourism in Bogota.
