Publicación: Caracterización molecular y evaluación funcional in silico de la pitiriacitrina como fotoprotector natural con potencial aplicación en biotecnología vegetal

| dc.description.abstract | La radiación ultravioleta B (UV-B, 280-315 nm) constituye un factor de estrés abiótico relevante para los cultivos en regiones tropicales y de alta montaña, donde alcanza niveles extremadamente peligrosos. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar in silico el potencial del alcaloide fúngico pitiriacitrina como agente fotoprotector vegetal. Se evaluaron las propiedades fisicoquímicas mediante quimioinformática (RDKit), se realizó acoplamiento molecular entre la pitiriacitrina y el fotorreceptor UVR8 de Arabidopsis thaliana (PDB ID: 4D9S) utilizando AutoDock Vina, y se diseñó un vector recombinante con análisis de balance de flujos metabólicos en Saccharomyces cerevisiae mediante COBRApy. Los resultados mostraron que la pitiriacitrina presenta un perfil fisicoquímico favorable para retención cuticular (LogP 4.86, TPSA 44.47 Å2, MW 283.33 Da). El acoplamiento molecular reveló una energía libre de unión de -9.615 kcal/mol, con interacciones de apilamiento π-π establecidas entre el compuesto y los residuos cromóforos Trp233 y Trp285 del receptor. El análisis de balance de flujos predijo una producción teórica de 2.22 mmol/gDW/h durante la fase de inducción. Se concluye que la pitiriacitrina constituye un candidato prometedor para el desarrollo de biofotoprotectores de origen natural, con un mecanismo dual que combinaría filtración física de la radiación y modulación de la señalización primaria de estrés UV-B. | spa |
