Publicación: Uso de juegos serios para desarrollar competencias socioemocionales en contextos educativos

| dc.description.abstract | Los juegos serios son herramientas cada vez más populares en entornos educativos y han demostrado utilidad para incidir en los procesos de aprendizaje, al tiempo que promueven positivamente la accesibilidad y participación. El uso de juegos serios en la educación socioemocional se orienta a mejorar la salud mental y el bienestar (programa Bite Back), incrementar el autocontrol y las estrategias de afrontamiento (programa CopeSmart), el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional (videojuego Happy, programa multimedia Developing Emotional Intelligence) y, el fortalecimiento de las habilidades sociales y la resiliencia (videojuego online REThink). El grupo Emina (Universitat de València), diseñó el juego emoTIC, para adolescentes, basado en el modelo de habilidades de competencia emocional y, actualmente, trabaja en el programa EmoWell, dirigido a personas entre 18 y 29 años. Los estudios cuasiexperimentales muestran que el emoTIC ayuda a mejorar la autoestima y el equilibrio afectivo; además, a disminuir los síntomas emocionales, los problemas de conducta y la hiperactividad. Aunque hay poca evidencia acerca de los efectos de los juegos serios de desarrollo emocional en estudiantes universitarios, se ha sugerido que pueden contribuir a la formación socioemocional, la salud mental y el bienestar. | spa |
