El presente trabajo de grado tuvo como objetivo identificar el turismo comunitario como iniciativa para el desarrollo de la oferta turística en la localidad Santa Fe. Se trató de una investigación de enfoque cualitativo y de tipo fenomenológico y no experimental, en la cual se llevó a cabo una búsqueda documental amplia, ya que no existía suficiente información acerca de este tema. Por consiguiente, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a diferentes entidades con el fin de tener información necesaria para identificar la pertinencia del turismo comunitario en la localidad, como lo realizan, quien los ha apoyado, que tipologías de turismo realizan con el turismo comunitario, las transformaciones sociales, culturales y económicas que han surgido debido a esta actividad. Asimismo, se empleó una matriz DOFA que permitió determinar la situación actual de las zonas donde se hace turismo comunitario. Por ende, los resultados de las entrevistas arrojaron que existen dos organizaciones que realizan iniciativas de turismo.

The objective of this degree project was to identify community tourism as an initiative for the development of the tourist offer in the Santa Fe locality. It was a research with a qualitative approach and of a phenomenological and non-experimental type, in which it was carried out an extensive documentary search, as there was not enough information on this topic. Consequently, semi-structured interviews were carried out with different entities in order to have the necessary information to identify the relevance of community tourism in the locality, how they do it, who has supported them, what types of tourism they carry out with community tourism, the social transformations , cultural and economic that have arisen due to this activity. Likewise, a SWOT matrix was used to determine the current situation of the areas where community tourism is carried out. Therefore, the results of the interviews showed that there are two organizations that carry out community tourism
