Este trabajo de grado hace notoria la importancia que ha generado el clúster turístico de La Candelaria para el desarrollo de la localidad, por lo tanto, se determinó el punto actual en el que este se encuentra respecto al ciclo de vida. Para lograr lo propuesto en el trabajo de investigación se plantean tres aspectos básicos, el primero obedece a analizar la fase en el que se encuentra el clúster turístico de La Candelaria respecto al ciclo de vida, el segundo se basa en identificar las dinámicas que han influido en el desarrollo del clúster turístico de La Candelaria y por último se elaboran los lineamientos para un modelo de gestión que permita minimizar los aspectos negativos identificados para el desarrollo del clúster turístico de La Candelaria. La metodología aplicada es de tipo cualitativa basada en el método interpretativo, al mismo tiempo la información fue recogida a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupos de discusión, los resultados obtenidos permiten evidenciar que el clúster turístico de La Candelaria se encuentra en el punto de declive puesto que existen aspectos negativos que han generado la desarticulación entre las asociaciones involucradas en el clúster y la falta de innovación.

This degree work makes known the importance that has generated the tourist cluster of La Candelaria for the development of the town, therefore, the current point at which it is relative to the lifecycle was determined. To achieve the proposed research work, three basic aspects are raised, the first is to analyze the phase in which the tourist cluster of La Candelaria is located with respect to the life cycle, the second is based on identifying the dynamics that have influenced the development of the tourist cluster of La Candelaria and finally, a management model is developed to minimize the negative aspects identified for the development of the tourist cluster of La Candelaria. The applied methodology is of qualitative type based on the interpretative method, at the same time the information was collected through semi-structured interviews and discussion groups, the results obtained make it clear that the tourism cluster of La Candelaria is at the point of decline since there are negative aspects that have generated the disarticulation between the associations involved in the cluster.
