Las formas de justicias alternativas están presentes desde hace décadas en nuestro país, aportan al desarrollo y fortalecimiento de las relaciones comunitarias, además de incentivar la sana convivencia. Ciudad Bolívar fue una de las primeras localidades en el Distrito Capital en reconocer y utilizar estas formas de justicia como estrategias para el fortalecimiento al acceso a la justicia de poblaciones periféricas y con alta demanda de conflictos sociales. Este documento pretende el análisis de este tipo de justicias mediante la interacción entre la conciliación en equidad y la comunidad. Todo con el fin de mostrar las estrategias, potencialidades, los retos, y alcances de la justicia comunitaria en la localidad, además de sus infinitas posibilidades a la hora de aportar a la transformación del conflicto. Se realizó reflexiones desde el Trabajo Social sobre las necesidades de éstos tipos de justicia como aporte a la resolución de conflictos en la ciudad y se generó un acercamiento a las problemáticas de la figura en relación con las instituciones y su devenir en la Localidad.
