Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el efecto del capital humano en el crecimiento económico de Colombia en el período comprendido entre 2008 y 2019, centrándose en los sectores primario, secundario y terciario. Este estudio busca determinar cómo la mano de obra calificada y no calificada contribuye al crecimiento económico de cada sector y cómo esta contribución se refleja en el PIB (Producto interno bruto) del país. La principal conclusión de este estudio es que existe una relación positiva entre el aumento del capital humano en cada sector y el PIB de forma que se cumple con la teoría economía y la importancia de desarrollar políticas orientadas en el aumento del capital humano en el país.

The aim of this work is to analyze the effect of human capital on the economic growth of Colombia during the period between 2008 and 2019, focusing on the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. This study seeks to determine how skilled and unskilled labor contributes to the economic growth of each sector and how this contribution reflects on the country's GDP (Gross Domestic Product). The main conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between an increase in human capital in each sector and the GDP, thus fulfilling economic theory and emphasizing the importance of developing policies aimed at increasing human capital in the country
