El propósito de este trabajo de grado es aportar a la seguridad turística del municipio de Sibaté. Con la percepción turística que se tiene en Sibaté, el chequeo de normas técnicas sectoriales y de protocolos de seguridad turística y el diseño del programa de capacitación, las investigadoras aspiran a que el municipio pueda brindar seguridad al turista y que los prestadores de servicios turísticos se formalicen, cumplan con las normas y protocolos y amplíen sus conocimientos y pongan en práctica los protocolos de seguridad turística y así contrarrestar la inseguridad. En un principio se realizó la revisión de documentos y el estudio de conceptos. La metodología que se aplicó fue tipo cualitativa, aplicando encuestas a la comunidad, turistas y prestadores de servicios turísticos con el fin de saber cómo se están llevando a cabo las normas de seguridad turística en el municipio. Se evidencia la falta de seguridad turística y el incumplimiento de normas, se presenta el diseño del programa de capacitación con el fin de ponerlo en funcionamiento para controlar incidentes o accidentes que se presenten durante las actividades turísticas y aportar al desarrollo turístico del municipio.

The purpose of this degree work is to contribute to the tourist security of the municipality of Sibaté. With the tourist perception that exists in Sibaté, the verification of sectoral technical standards and tourist security protocols and the design of the training program, the researchers hope that the municipality can provide security to the tourist and that the tourism service providers become formalize, comply with the rules and expand their knowledge and put into practice the tourist security protocols and thus counteract insecurity. Initially, the document review and concept study were carried out. The methodology that was applied was qualitative, applying surveys to the community, tourists and tourism service providers in order to know how tourist safety regulations are being carried out in the municipality. The lack of tourist security and non-compliance with regulations are evident, the design of the training program is presented in order to put it into operation to control incidents or accidents that occur during tourist activities and contribute to the tourist development of the municipality.
