Representaciones sociales sobre paternidad. un análisis desde la experiencia de las personas privadas de la libertad en la cárcel y penitenciaría de mediana seguridad de Bogotá “la modelo” durante el año 2020.

Abstract

La presente investigación estuvo dirigida en torno al análisis de las representaciones sociales sobre las dimensiones de paternidad presentes en las personas privadas de la libertad en la Cárcel y Penitenciaría de Mediana Seguridad de Bogotá “La Modelo” durante el año 2020, encontrando que para los padres privados de la libertad la paternidad se encuentra atravesada por valores que dan significación a su ejercicio paternal dentro y fuera de los establecimientos carcelarios. Lo anterior dirigido a partir del enfoque cualitativo, el paradigma interpretativo comprensivo y la teoría de las representaciones sociales planteada por la Trabajadora Social Sandra Araya (2002), recolectando información a partir de técnicas como cuestionario, historias de vida y técnicas asociativas. Los resultados de la investigación dan cuenta de cómo pese a las limitaciones que se encuentran en los establecimientos carcelarios los padres adaptan herramientas como, artesanías, llamadas, cartas y visitas; aprovechándolas al máximo para guiar y orientar a sus hijos, posibilitándoles el ejercicio de la paternidad a través de aquellas experiencias y vivencias que objetivizan en su vida cotidiana y que les permiten darle un significado a la paternidad.

The present investigation was directed around the analysis of the social representations on the dimensions of paternity present in the persons deprived of the freedom in the Prison and Penitentiary of Medium Security of Bogota "The Model" during year 2020, finding that for the parents deprived of the freedom the paternity is crossed by values that give meaning to their paternal exercise inside and outside the prison establishments. The above is directed from the qualitative approach, the comprehensive interpretative paradigm and the theory of social representations proposed by the Social Worker Sandra Araya (2002), collecting information from techniques such as questionnaires, life stories and associative techniques. The results of the research show how, in spite of the limitations found in the prisons, parents adapt tools such as handicrafts, phone calls, letters and visits, taking advantage of them to the maximum in order to guide and orient their children, making it possible for them to exercise their paternity through those experiences and experiences that they have objectified in their daily lives and that allow them to give a meaning to their paternity.
